We had low veggie beds in the front garden, but after a few years of back pain, we ripped them out and built some raised ones.
We thought about wicking beds but the work required when one of them goes bad put us off.
These were put in 2017 I think?
Since then, all the grass has been removed, there's a tonne more fruit trees in, and there's pebble around the beds to keep weeds down.
